Residents are settling into the first, of what will be five, completed luxury apartment buildings this summer at Summit Square's The Donovan in Lee's Summit, Mo.
Meanwhile, construction continues on the final phase of the development, including soon-to-open amenities such as a meditation spa with a combo therapy of a dry and steam sauna, a grotto-style plunge pool and shower, a grilling station and fire pit, outdoor foosball and ping-pong areas and an exercise deck overlooking two small ponds.
"We will have five buildings total; two are scheduled to open at the end of September and then we plan to open a building every thirty days until December 31st (2020)," said Pam Lakey, multi-site manager for NorthPoint, who developed and manages the multifamily community.
Current residents have access to the fitness area and other facilities without leaving the main (completed) building, which features 120 units spreading across two wings.
"We were averaging about 8-10 leases a week when we didn't even have a sign or grass! We will be offering a cross-amenity fee option with our sister community, Summit Square Apartments, who strategically offer completely different amenities such as a car care center, dog wash, dog park, spin room, outdoor entertainment pavilion, zero entry saltwater pool, reservable private media room and an on site massage and hair salon," said Lackey.
The 327-unit, multifamily community is on schedule to be completely finished by the end of the year.
