BOMA Kansas City gives back

Through participation and donations, the “BOMA for Boobies” team raised more than $1,700 for breast cancer research at the Susan G. Komen 5K.

The BOMA Kansas City crew has had a busy September with a number of functions with one goal in mind: to give back to the community. Participants in BOMA’s annual golf tournament at Hillcrest Golf Club this year helped collect 198 pounds of canned food and raised enough money for 1,512 meals for hungry Kansas City families. Additional proceeds went to the BOMA PAC.

BOMA members also took to Worlds of Fun to participate in the first time ever in the Susan G. Komen 5K. Through participation and donations, the “BOMA for Boobies” team raised more than $1,700.
