Camson Properties, a multifamily portfolio consisting of 170 Class-A luxury apartments and townhomes in northwest Lawrence, Kansas, near the South Lawrence Trafficway and the Kansas Turnpike, has sold for an undisclosed price.
The multifamily community includes three areas; Camson Place, which houses 90 units at 5125 Overland Drive, Camson Villas includes 38 units located at 430 Eisenhower Drive and Camson Townhomes, with 42 units at 5244 Eisenhower Place.
The Camson community offers residents best-in-class luxury units with custom gourmet kitchens, granite counters, direct access garages, and close proximity to neighboring boutique retail shopping in west Lawrence.
NorthMarq’s Jeff Lamott, managing director of the Kansas City office, represented the seller of the Orozco Capital Trust Topeka portfolio and then sourced the Camson portfolio off-market through Wilhm Real Estate, a Kansas City broker who represented the seller.
“We were excited to represent Orozco in the sale of their Class-B Topeka portfolio, and utilize a 1031-exchange to move them into a best-in-class, Class-A community with less deferred maintenance," said Lamott.
NorthMarq's Kyle Tucker, senior vice president and John Duvall, vice president of the Kansas City office, arranged financing for the properties.
