A locally owned family business has outgrown its home.

In a few short months, Meierotto's Jewelers will soon have a new headquarters in the Northland. Designed by Davidson Architecture and Engineering, McCownGordon Construction is already building the new two-story headquarters building at Armour Road and Interstate-35 in North Kansas City, Mo.

The new building became necessary when after a recent wave of business growth, the company began growing out of its current location at 4311 NE Vivion Road.

"This prime location will make it easier for our customers from all over the Kansas City area to reach us," Ted Meierotto said.

The expanded store footprint will offer more space for the store's selection of rings, diamonds, jewelry and watches. Slated to open in Fall 2017, the building will include a headquarters office, store, and storage.
