BRES sells Amazon-occupied industrial building

An Amazon-occupied industrial building in Lenexa is now under new ownership.

Block Real Estate Services LLC and Thackeray Partners participated with HFF on the sale of Lenexa Logistics Centre Building 4, a 260,707-square-foot building is fully occupied by Amazon Fulfillment Center. The Class A development, completed in 2014, was a joint venture between BRES and Thackaray Partners.

BRES currently manages more than 37 million square feet worth of industrial, retail, and office properties, and more than 7,000 units of multifamily property for equity partnerships and third party owners.

Real estate investment firm Thackeray Partners is seeking a portfolio of stabilized, value-add, and development opportunities within the industrial, multifamily, and retail sectors in the U.S. The firm's limited partners consist primarily of university and hospital endowments, charitable foundations, and U.S. based family offices. Since its inception, the firm has closed on more than $3.8 billion worth of joint venture and direct real estate transactions. Its total investment activity includes more than 175 separate transactions representing approximately 18,500 apartment units, 14 million square feet of industrial space, and 4 million square feet of retail space.
