Kansas City CRE Expo Returns May 14 With Sold-Out Show

The Kansas City Commercial Real Estate Expo returns May 14, and according to event organizers, exhibit space sold out in just one day. Hosted at Union Station, the expo brings together the region’s top professionals across all sectors of the CRE industry.

Founded by BOMA in 1996, the expo is a coordinated effort among several key industry organizations, including the Apartment Association of Kansas City (AAKC), Building Owners and Managers Association Kansas City (BOMA KC), Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), International Facility Management Association Kansas City Chapter (ifmaKC), and the Commercial Division of the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS (KCRAR).

Registration is complimentary for CRE professionals, offering access to networking opportunities, industry updates, and exhibitor showcases.

According to BOMA KC President Victoria Smith, “The Kansas City Commercial Real Estate Expo is unique because of the partnership between the leading CRE industry associations. Working together creates an opportunity for everyone to mix and mingle on equal footing.”

Highlights include an Engineer Education luncheon focused on AI, presented by Zach Beall, MBA. Attendees of the luncheon receive VIP early access to the Expo. Pre-registration is required and complimentary for building engineers and maintenance techs.

IREM will host a booth with board members available to discuss membership, designations and involvement. “Whether you’re a long-time member or just curious, we’d love to meet you,” said Susan Royster, CPM, IREM vice president and education chair.

AAKC encourages supplier partners to attend. “Networking is the key to anyone’s business,” said Debbie Haukenberry, AAKC executive director. “We always meet new potential members through this trade show.”

Leadership opportunities, fall events and committee involvement details will also be available at various booths.
