On Friday, the Downtown Council will host its annual luncheon, where it will champion the progress and revitalization of downtown Kansas City. But the group wants local members and leaders to know that the renaissance is far from complete.
Gardner hotel would serve booming JoCo base
A lack of nearby hotel and meeting space is a common concern among employers in Southwest Johnson County. Knowing that conference meeting space will help attract more business relocations and expansions to the area, the city is considering a plan for an 82-room hotel and conference center along I-35.
